A structured accessibility audit that combines our automated WCAG scanner with expert manual review, so you get a defensible compliance record mapped to WCAG 2.1 AA and EN 301 549, not just a scan report.
The European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882) has applied across all 27 EU member states since June 28, 2025. It covers private companies offering in-scope services to EU consumers — including e-commerce, banking and consumer financial services, transport ticketing and travel booking, e-books, and electronic communications. Micro-enterprises (fewer than 10 employees and under €2 million annual turnover) are generally exempt, but their B2B customers may still ask for conformance evidence. Companies based outside the EU that sell in-scope services to EU consumers are in scope as well.
Each EU member state enforces the EAA through its own national authority, so penalties and enforcement mechanisms differ by country — there is no single EU-wide fine schedule. Consequences can include corrective orders, fines, and market restrictions, on top of the reputational and contractual risk of being excluded from public-sector and enterprise RFPs that now require documented accessibility conformance. A dated audit record with evidence of good-faith remediation meaningfully reduces exposure in every jurisdiction.
Every page crawled against 201 WCAG 2.1/2.2 checks across Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, and Robust.
An accessibility specialist tests keyboard navigation, screen-reader flows, and the issues automated tools cannot catch.
Every issue mapped to its WCAG criterion and EN 301 549 clause, ranked by severity, with code-level fix guidance.
After remediation, we re-scan and re-review to confirm issues are closed and hand over a dated compliance record.

Prices are starting points; final scope and price are confirmed after reviewing your site. No payment is processed on this page — every request goes through email so we can scope it correctly first.
No. The free scanner is the automated starting point — 201 checks in about 60 seconds. This audit builds on that with expert manual review of the roughly half of accessibility barriers automated tools cannot reliably catch (meaningful alt text, logical reading order, real screen-reader usability), plus a prioritized report and, on Standard and above, an accessibility statement and VPAT draft your legal or procurement team can use.
No audit, automated or manual, can guarantee full legal compliance or immunity from complaints. We assess and document conformance against WCAG 2.1 Level AA and EN 301 549 — the technical standards referenced by the EAA — and give you a prioritized path to close the gaps we find. This service is not legal advice.
Typical turnaround is 5-7 business days for Starter once we have access to the site, and 10-15 business days for Standard depending on site size and template complexity. Enterprise engagements are scoped individually based on the number of domains and pages involved.
A list of the URLs or a sitemap you want covered (or the domain itself if it can be crawled publicly), any existing accessibility statement or VPAT, and a contact for scheduling if we need credentials to test login-gated areas as part of the manual review.
You receive the prioritized remediation report, and on Standard or above, the accessibility statement and VPAT draft. Your team applies the fixes (or asks us about implementation support), and we run the included re-test rounds to confirm the flagged issues are closed before you rely on the results.
This audit assesses conformance against WCAG 2.1 Level AA and EN 301 549 and is intended to reduce accessibility risk under the European Accessibility Act. It is not legal advice and does not guarantee compliance or immunity from complaints or enforcement action in any EU member state.
